Well! COVID19 is the new normal. You like it or not but it is a fact. We have to live with it for an extended time. But then besides many other things, you have to look into your physical fitness.   • Watch your posture and position:

For those of you who have to spend long hours in front of a computer, this is important to alternate your position between sitting and standing. Yes, you have to be careful when it comes to your posture even while sitting. Try to sit straight against the back of the chair you are sitting in. Ideally, you should try to do your job standing most of the time.

  • Make friends with the staircase:

Well! Stairs are even otherwise a great way of cardio and weight loss tool. Now here, when you are facing a pandemic and you can not afford a visit to the gym, stairs come to your rescue when it is about maintaining your fitness level. Climbing stairs is as effective as any other cardio workout at the gym. Trust me! When you do a 20-second fast climb-up the stairs thrice a day, it will do wonders for you to lose extra pounds and keeping you fit.

  • Strength-train yourself with your bodyweight:

No gym means no weight training for most of you. Although some of you might have your own dumbells at home but do not fret if you do not have them. Yes! here let me tell you, your body weight can do what the dumbells might not do for you. Yeah! all you have to do is to develop a routine of the most common but most effective home strength training with exercises using your own body weight like Sit-ups, Planks, and Press-ups. Make sure that you do at least 3 sets of 8 to 15 reps of each exercise with a resting time of 3 to 4 minutes in-between.
